Overview

Yaaro.chat is built around a simple principle: you should be able to have a conversation without giving up your identity. We collect as little data as possible and we never store your conversations.

What We Do Not Collect

• Your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers
• Your chat messages or conversation history
• Your IP address in any persistent or identifiable form
• Photos, files, or media
• Your device contacts or location

What We Do Collect

To keep the service running and improve it, we collect limited anonymous usage data:

• Analytics — We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, session counts, device types). This data is anonymised and cannot be used to identify you.
• Nicknames — You choose a nickname to start a chat. It is used only for the duration of that session and is not stored after the chat ends.
• Technical session data — Temporary data (such as a session token) required to match you with a chat partner. This data exists only while the session is active and is discarded when you disconnect.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies to measure aggregate usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics (operated by Google LLC) for anonymous usage statistics. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by their service: policies.google.com/privacy.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any other third parties.

Chat Messages

Messages you send during a chat session are relayed in real time to your matched partner. They are not logged, stored, or accessible to us after transmission. Once a chat session ends, the messages are gone permanently.

Children's Privacy

Yaaro.chat is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor is using the service, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
